The Story of Santa Forest

A few years ago, our family discovered Finnish Lapland for the very first time.

Like many visitors, we came to Rovaniemi to experience the magic of the Arctic winter, discover snowy landscapes and share special moments as a family. Very quickly, however, we felt something unique. There was a different atmosphere here, built on silence, nature and authenticity.

Over the years, Lapland became much more than a travel destination. Every winter we returned with the same excitement, amazed by the snowy forests, the winter lights and the unique feeling that cannot be found anywhere else.

One day, we discovered this forest in Sonka, near Rovaniemi.

Walking among the snow-covered trees, we immediately imagined a place where families could enjoy a timeless moment. A simple, warm and authentic place where children could meet Santa Claus in a natural setting.

That is how the idea of Santa Forest was born.

We imagined a path through the forest, a cosy home for Santa Claus and, above all, a more personal experience. A meeting where every child could enjoy a genuine interaction and leave with memories they would keep for a long time.

Today, Santa Forest welcomes families from all over the world to share this same magic. Every smile, every amazed look and every meeting remind us why this adventure began.

And every winter, we continue to bring this story to life with the same passion as on the very first day.
