Santa Forest is a family experience located in Sonka, near Rovaniemi, designed for families who wish to meet Santa Claus in a more intimate, natural and magical setting. Here, the meeting takes place in Santa Claus’s cabin, in the heart of an illuminated Lapland forest.

The goal is simple: to offer children a personalized, warm and memorable moment. The day before your visit, we collect a few simple details from parents, such as the children’s first names and a small anecdote. Santa Claus can then welcome each child naturally and make them feel as if he truly knows them.

  Photos are allowed outside, in the Santa Forest setting. Personal photos are not allowed inside the cabin; an official photo may be offered after the visit.

• Can children do a snow activity?
  Yes. Santa Forest offers Rudolf electric mini snowmobiles for children, generally suitable for children aged 4 to 10. Available options are 15 minutes for €25 and 30 minutes for €40.

• What language does Santa Claus speak?
  Santa Claus speaks French and English well enough to talk with children and share a warm moment.

• How much time should we plan at Santa Forest?
  Plan around 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on how long you spend on site and whether your children take part in the Rudolf children’s mini snowmobile activity.

• Can we walk outside the marked paths?
  No. For safety and environmental reasons, the visit must stay on the marked paths. Some areas of the forest are not open to the public.
